Sizing

One 4-stall trailer covers up to 200 guests for a typical 4-hour wedding reception. For longer evenings, alcohol-heavy service, or guest lists over 200, plan a second unit or add attendant service. See our full sizing calculator at /resources/how-many-restrooms-do-i-need-for-my-event.

Placement

Most LA backyards accommodate the 20-ft trailer in a side yard, motor court, driveway, or service lane. We do a free Google Street View pre-walk before quoting to confirm the access path. The trailer is self-leveling on any reasonably flat surface.

What we look for in the pre-walk

  • 20 ft × 10 ft of flat ground
  • 11 ft of overhead clearance (watch for low branches and power lines)
  • Approach path wide enough for 3/4-ton tow vehicle (≥10 ft)
  • Turnaround radius of 20 ft
  • Power source within 100 ft, or willingness to use generator
  • Water source within 75 ft, or willingness to use onboard tank

Permits

Private property in your own backyard — no permit needed for the trailer. If you need to park the trailer at the curb (because the driveway can't accommodate it), most LA-area cities require a temporary use permit. We help with the application; turnaround is typically 5–10 business days.

Power and water

Most LA backyards have a 20A outdoor outlet and a garden-hose spigot, both of which work. If your power is limited (older homes, garage outlets only) or the water access is far from the placement spot, we bring the onboard generator and the onboard 200-gallon fresh-water tank — both surcharged on the quote.

Cost

A 4-stall luxury trailer for a typical LA backyard wedding lands between $1,500 and $2,800 all-in. See our full pricing breakdown at /resources/luxury-restroom-trailer-cost-los-angeles.
